A celebration of conscious steps and soulful connections

In September, we celebrated Indosole’s 15th anniversary with a special event in Nakameguro, Tokyo. A neighborhood known for its creative energy, tree-lined canal, and independent spirit.

The venue, DEPT, is an iconic vintage clothing shop and a gallery that has been a cultural landmark for years. Its founder, Eri, generously opened the door for us, creating the perfect setting. It was a space with a true soul, where things are cared to last and stories are meant to be shared.

The room was filled with friends, collaborators, people from long-time supporters to new faces discovering the brand for the first time. Artists, designers, surfers, and sustainability advocates came together to celebrate what connects us all: the belief that every step can make a difference.

During the talk session, Kai and Kyle, our co-founders, shared stories from Indosole’s 15-year journey. The challenges they’ve faced, the milestones achieved, and the new steps being taken with Sungai Watch, an inspiring project that tackles river plastic pollution in Indonesia.It was a moment to reflect, reconnect, and renew our commitment to keep creating responsible products for both people and the planet.

It’s been about five years since indosole found its way from Bali to Japan.
As we step into the next chapter, we’ll continue to walk with purpose carrying the spirit of “Soles with Souls” in every pair we make.
